Who knows. It’s very possible. I think they were under the radar last summer after all the yahoo sports investigations and reports. We’ve seen it before out of Pac-12 coaches. Not to name names or anything.

It’s finally here, #1 vs. #2. SEC vs. SEC. Bama vs. LSU.
Honestly, I’m sure it’s going to be a good game. Probably one of the better games, but I honestly just don’t care much about it.
If Bama wins, what will it solve? Nothing, really. If LSU wins, it’ll just validate what they did two months ago. So there’s not much to be gained from this for either side.

People can say what they want about the Big East, but when it comes to bowl games and out of conference games they bring it. They bring it as if they’re the SEC.

Let me get this all straight.
Rose Bowl, with a #5 vs. #10 match-up is an amazing game.
Fiesta Bowl, with a #3 vs. #4 match-up is an amazing game.
Sugar Bowl, with two almost Top-10 teams, is a terribly sloppy game but is still a close one.

He was the only one that dared to say that the Sugar Bowl was meaningless to anyone who wasn’t a Michigan/VT fan. Seeing the replays, I would agree that wasn’t a touchdown catch, but that kicker did jump before the snap. Whatever though. At the end of the day, the only difference between the Sugar Bowl and the Hawaii Bowl is a few million dollars.

Boise State gave Coach Petersen a 375K raise for an extra 5 years with the program. He gets an extra $100,000 for every year he has an 8 win season under this contract.

Out of Bounds Rule
Because when the player is hit backwards, he gets forward progress. The forward progress is not where the players goes out of bounds, so it’s like he got tackled in bounds. Because the Wisconsin player didn’t intentionally step out of bounds he got forward progress, which didn’t stop the clock.
Wait.
If you’re knocked backwards and out-of-bounds, it doesn’t stop the clock? That’s the dumbest rule I’ve ever heard.
ACC Refs?
Nothing against the ACC, but no way do their games move as fast as this one. They should have brought in some Big 12 refs for this game, being that they are so used to the pace of game that Wisconsin/Oregon are playing. Just a thought.
Rose Bowl Stats
The Pac-12 has won 47 Rose Bowls, compared to 30 by the Big 10 and 15 by the other conferences combined. USC has 24 of those. Is it because the Pac-12 is historically better in bowl games than the Big 10, or is it home field advantage, being that Pasadena is on the West Coast?

did you watch the same game i watched ? i believed TCU won.
It was still funny to watch them struggle against La Tech. Though I know Tech had an excellent defense. I think TCU is set to contend for the Big XII next year. They just had motivation issues yesterday.

Andrew Luck should have won. He’s played 3 great seasons and all of a sudden he’s beat, two years in a row, by two players that come out of nowhere and have one good season.
If it were based on that, Kellen Moore would have won it and so would Colt McCoy a few years ago.
Andrew Luck is about to lose 3 times this year.
