My Take on Michigan
Sorry, I don’t like Denard Robinson. You might have known that by now. And I’m gonna tell you why (cue Lou Holtz voice). I don’t like how he turns the ball over so much early in games and makes his defense work to keep them in the game. I’m actually quite impressed with Michigan’s D this year. It’s much better than last year. Still though. D Rob turns the ball over so many times that it’s up to them to keep the other teams from scoring, despite bad field position. It’s just crazy he gets all the credit for Michigan’s successful season. If he’s struggling passing the ball against Northwestern, how’s he going to look against Michigan State? Or Penn State? Or anyone else in conference? I guess we’ll see if the defense continues to hold and if he can come through late in games as he has been. My Life. My Views.: What We Learned in the Big Ten→
Yeah, I went there. woah. This game is an example of what I said earlier.
These teams are irrelevant. That whole 4th quarter wasn’t good football. It was people chucking the ball up and getting pass interference calls. Throw in a good quality team like Bama, Boise, Oklahoma, or LSU and they would physically shut down their opponent. They wouldn’t try to to just chuck it up every play. It might be high scoring and exciting, but it’s not good quality football. |
